This quote is said by Romeo after being turned down by his love. His love at this point in the story is Rosaline, so she doesn’t love him back. The first few statements of this quote are saying that if you hit Rosaline with Cupid’s arrow it would miss its purpose. Cupid is known for his love arrows and Romeo is stating that his arrow is useless against Rosaline.
After the begging statement Romeo talks about Rosaline having “Dian’s wit.” Dian was the goddess of chastity and love. As the book says Dian was not interested in men. Romeo is applying this metaphor because Rosaline is not in love with him. The sentence afterwards says that her chastity is strongly presented. Song: Take my hand The first verse/paragraph is the writer saying how he wants to spend some time with his girl. The writer also says he’ll have her home before dark which means he will be a gentleman and attempt to impress his girl’s parents.
The second verse/paragraph is the writer saying if they were together their lives would be better. He also says how he would want to walk down the street as in he wants people to know about how much they love each other.
The third verse/paragraph is when the writer says about how much he likes her. The poet also flatters her trying to convince her to be his love. He also states that them together would be wonderful and perfect.
The fourth verse/paragraph is a little more dificult. The main thing the author is trying to get across is that he wants her to be with him.
The fifth verse/paragraph is simply saying that he can wait. Being that girls are generally shy when it comes to love at a young age. Also that she is the one he wants to be with.
The sixth and seventh verses/paragraphs are just repeating chorus that mean nothing and are just there for the sound.
Question 1: The statement the lyrics are making are saying that love would only be good for this girl if she was with the singer. The title does not really say anything about being with him, but it sort of foreshadows the songs meaning.
Question 2: I do agree with the statement that is being made. For some people most people know who their soul mate or love is on the spot.
Question 3: The structure of the song is mainly just repeating lines. The reason for this repetition is to make the point the writer has clearer. The way the song is sang is in a slow cheery manner. The possible reason for this rhythm is to woo his love into loving him back. The lyrics completely match the tone and pitch of this song.

Romeo and Juliet are going to be separated and when they meet again their love will grow. Juliet says their love is a bud of a flower as in she loves him but it can grow more. She then says their love will ripen. That alone is self explanatory. Juliet is also saying that their love will only grow when they are together.

Dear Juliet,
I understand you are “In love” with Romeo but you just met him. I mean honestly, it took less than one day to know he’s the one for you. I realize that people don’t live long but you should probably keep looking. You’re only 12 years old! There is no possible way that you are going to go through with this marriage!
Marriage is a sacred thing and always will be. It’d be for the best not to challenge its purpose. He’s 15 you’re 12 how is it possible to fund life together. Your parents are rich but they won’t help you out because you are joining the rival family. Marriage should be the last thing on your mind. I understand that your father wants you to marry Count Paris and this seems like an easy way to get out of that, but it’s not at all. The new situation you are in is now even worse. Think about what all you are giving up.
Everything you used to have is now going to be lost because of that duel Tybalt has challenged Romeo to. Even if Romeo says no as strong headed Tybalt is he will attack and Romeo will be banished! And because of the predicament you’re in you will be banished too. Juliet, you will never get to see your friends or family anymore. I’m not kidding this is serious you should really call off the wedding.
To sum up all that I’ve written so far you should do what the Friar said and wait for your love to become stronger and plan a little more carefully.
ROYAL RUMBLE THE GIZERB GAZETTE
Earlier today there was a battle of the riches. Mercutio Escalus and Tybalt Capulet were engaged in a duel to the death. The peacekeeper and liable witness was none other than Benvolio Montague. The fight was said to break out over a few insults and a very defensive Mercutio Escalus. Just before the duel started Romeo Montague came in and held the two swordsmen apart. Little did Romeo know the sneaky Tybalt Capulet stabbed underneath Romeo and fatally wounded poor Mercutio.
Those involved in the fight and innocent bystanders saw it all happen. Although the main person the police and prince are interrogating is Benvolio Montague. After all he was the one standing right next to the victim the whole time. The streets of Verona are all suffering from the loss. Than after that all Tybalt came back to fight Romeo at the Montague mansion. Romeo then killed Tybalt and suffered the punishment. The prince is now in utter frenzy mode and has punished Romeo for killing Tybalt. Tybalt would have gotten the punishment for the murder of Mercutio but he has passed away therefore can’t accept any punishment.
Everybody in the streets of Verona and both families are upset towards each other. The prince is definitely angrier towards the Capulets because Tybalt was the one who murdered poor Mercutio. A miss Juliet Capulet is very upset along with everybody else over the loss of her cousin. Lord Capulet has decided to cheer the family and townspeople up by having a wedding between his daughter Juliet Capulet and Count Paris.

English 9: Parents Vs. Teenagers essay
My parents aren’t very strict but they are at times when I disobey them.
The rules my parents have aren’t really talked about; they are just mainly common sense. For example the drinking and smoking is easily known as DON’T DO IT! Along with shoplifting and breaking the law in any way. Also if I break something that has meaning they go easier on me if I don’t try and lie my way out of it. It’s these rules that I live by and keep on the straight path.
My parents are easy going and kind of let me do my own thing. They aren’t too involved with what I do and whom I’m with. Along with that if they hear I am hanging out with bad influences they will interfere. This is what makes some of the best parents.
I agree entirely with what my parents decide is right. Breaking laws are always a bad thing and keeping me away from that now helps to provide a good example when I get older. Then ways my parents punish my sisters and I is mainly by grounding. They decide what we can and can’t have and what we do. I sort of agree with them about this. The only part that bothers me is when I do something small they punish me big. And same way goes when I do something big they punish me small.
As you can see my parents confuse me, but they do they’re parental jobs right.
